How to Copy DVDs to your iPod using Cucusoft iPod Video Converter Suite

Are you looking for a way to transfer your DVDs directly to your iPod? It is a pretty easy process that requires little effort on your part.  This tutorial/guide will focus on Cucusoft iPod Video Converter Suite which lets you copy/transfer your DVDs onto the iPod with ease.

Software needed:

• Cucusoft iPod Video Converter Suite

• iTunes

Lets get started with the first step....

Step 1 - Launch Cucusoft iPod Video Converter Suite

1. Open Cucusoft DVD to iPOD Converter. Choose the profile (output format), encode speed, and set the output folder. You need to set the output folder to your hard disk.
 

2. Insert DVD to DVD-ROM. Click "Open DVD" button on the skin or choose "Menu > File >Open DVD".  Once the DVD is loaded, you will see a list of different titles.  The rule of thumb here is that the longest/largest title you see is the main movie.  You can select/deselect from the various titles you see listed. 

3. Select whether you want subtitles copied and the audio (language) track.  Usually the defaults don't need to be changed.
 

4. If you have not started recording the DVD at step 3, you also can click "record" button to record to begin the process of transferring your DVD to your iPod.

Once the above process is complete, all you need to do is add the file just created above using Cucusoft iPod Video Converter Suite into iTunes and sync your iPod so that you can view the video on your iPod.
